See Hong Kong’s playful pink dolphins right up close on this fun-filled cruise through the Pearl River Delta. Pink Dolphins were first observed in the waters around Hong Kong and the Pearl River Estuary over 300 years ago, but it wasn’t until the late 1980’s that anyone really started paying attention to them.
Pink Dolphin is the common name for the Sousa Chinensis also known as the Chinese White Dolphin.
This is not only a way to enjoy and observe these lovely creatures in the wild, but also to take a little break from the hectic pace of the city and see a bit more from the surrounding areas.
The trip is conducted in a way that minimizes disturbance to the dolphins, and it is at the same time an educational experience as the guides are very knowledgeable about the Chinese dolphins and are more than happy to tell you all about them, their habits, characteristics, habitat and the plight they face.
