Itinerary

Day 1Arrival Tokyo

Arrive in Japan:- The Land of Rising Sun. Upon arrival at Narita/ Haneda Airport, receive the warm welcome. Transfer to the hotel by Coach. After completing Check- In formalities day free for Leisure. Later in the evening enjoy dinner at Restaurant. Post dinner transfer back to hotel.

Day 2Tokyo City Tour

Your tour will start from the visit to the Asakusa Kanon Temple located in Nakamise Street & later visit Chidorigafuchi the most popular cherry blossom spot in Tokyo after visit Tokyo Tower a communication & observation tower in the Shiba – koen district of Minato, Tokyo, Japan. At 350 meters,it is the second-tallest structure in the Japan. The structure is an Eiffel Tower-inspired lattice tower that is painted white & international orange to comply with air safety regulations.

Day 3Mt.Fuji & Lake Ashi

The Journey from Tokyo Hotel to Mt.Fuji will take around two hours.Upon arrival visit Mt.Fuji Visitor Center & later Mt.Fuji 5th station (Subject to Weather Conditions) being at 3776 meters height it’s the Japan’s highest mountain. En-route Lunch at Restaurant which is followed by Hakone Ropeway and Lake Ashi Cruise which is a scenic lake in the Hakone area it is a crater lake that lies along the southwest wall of the caldera of Mount Hakone, a complex volcano. Later proceed back to Tokyo.

Day 4Transfer to Nagano

Transfer to Nagano & enroute visit Matsumoto Castle which is one of the most complete and beautiful castles among Japan’s original castles. It is a “hirajiro” – a castle built on plains rather than on a hill or mountain. Later lunch at local restaurant and then continue you journey to Nagano Upon arrival visit Nagano’s Zenkoji Temple which is one of the most important & popular temples in Japan. Later transfer to your hotel and check-in.

Day 5Alpine Route

Transfer to Ougisawa Station, from where you will travel to the Kurobe Dam. Further travel in a ropeway to Daikanbo Peak The view of Mountains from here is fantastic when the mountains surface from a sea of clouds Later take trolley to Murodo Station which is situated on the Murodo Plateau, 2,400 m above sea level. Later travel to Bijodaira by bus & enjoys pictures mountain view covered with lots of snow the road from Murodo to Bijodaira runs between upto 20 meter-high snow walls.

Day 6Takayama Market

Check-out & enjoy the Takayama morning tour. There are 2 markets – the miyagawa Market alon the Miyagawa River in the old town, & the Jinya – mae Market in front of the Takayama Jinya. The stands sell local crafts, snacks & farm products such as vegetables, pickles & flowers. Later visit the the Historic Village of Shirakawa – go & Gokayama. The cultural property consists of three historic mountain villages over an area of 68 hectares in the remote Shogawa river valley, stretching across the border of Gifu & Toyama Prefectures in central Japan

Day 7Hiroshima Sightseeing

Proceed to Nagoya station & board bullet train to Hiroshima. Transfer to Miyajima Island. It is popularly known as Miyajima. Miyajima is famous for the Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later visit Hiroshima peace memorial which is a large – scale park & was established in 1949 after the Pacific War ended. The Atomic Bomb Dome is a symbol of the disastrous atomic bombing during WWII, the first atomic bombs used in human history, and has been preserved as it was to promote peace & elimination of atomic weapons around the world.

Day 8Kyoto & Nara Sightseeing

check-out from hotel & drop at Hiroshima Station, board bullet train to Kyoto Station. Visit Kinkakuji, a Zen temple in northern Kyoto whose top two floors are completely covered in gold leaf. After that visit Kiyomizudera is one of the most celebrated temples of Japan. It was founded in 780 on the site of the Otowa Waterfall in the wooded hills east of Kyoto, & derives its name from the fall’s pure waters. Later Visit to Todaiji, one of Japan’s most famous & historically significant temples. The temple was constructed in 752 as the head temple of all provincial Buddhist temples of Japan.

Day 9Osaka City Sightseeing

Proceed for Osaka Sightseeing, visit Osaka Castle which is japan’s one of the most famous castles. Later transfer to Osaka Bay Area which is a collection of young city districts on man – made waterfront islands & peninsulas, built to accommodate Osaka’s sprawling growth. Also enjoy the Tempozan Ferris Wheel ride Wheel ride which is in Harbor Village. Lunch at indian restaurant which is followed free time for shopping at Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade. It is best – know shopping area in Osaka, & an enduring symbol of the city with a history of 380 years

Day 10Tour Ends

After breakfast at Hotel, time to say Sayonara to the beautiful country,Japan. You will be transferred to Osaka Airport for your flight back to Sri lanka . Board flight with sweet memories of the tower.
