River Safari:-
The safari consists of 10 different ecosystems around the world, including the River Nile, Yangtze River, Mississippi, Amazon as well as the Tundra.
It features over 5000 diverse wildlife of 500 species including numerous endangered species, these include the Anacondas, Electric eels, Mekong freshwater stingrays, Manatees, the critically endangered Mekong giant catfish, Giant Pandas, as well as a pair of Japanese Raccoon Dog.
The cute giant pandas, a pair, Kai Kai and Jia Jia are the main attractions. They are housed in a specially constructed climate-controlled enclosure. The Frozen Tundra is a 1,400-square-metre exhibit which houses the Polar Bears Sheba and Inuka. The exhibit replicates climate-control features simulating the Arctic. The exhibit also features three viewing elevations for visitors to see the polar bears including an underwater view.
Other key features of the exhibit include “ice rocks: where the polar bears can lie on top of frozen rocks as well as an ice cave.
Theme park rides features two major themed rides “A white water rafting as well as a boat ride” and “Amazon Ride”. The white water rafting attraction features Malayan Tigers as its main animal attraction while the Amazon slow boat ride features over 20 species of animals from the Amazon River. A must look at the world’s ecosystem and the most exotic flora and fauna…not to be missed.
Night Safari:-
Opened in 1994, it is world’s largest nocturnal wildlife park…come for the unique experience of watching the animals in their natural surroundings at night-time. From the Himalayan Foothills to Asian Riverine Forests, from Leopard Trails to Fishing Cat Trails and walk through the all new Wallaby Trail. A must watch is the famous performance of tribal warriors in the Thumbuakar Performance. Don’t miss the highly entertaining 20 minutes show ‘Creatures of the Night’.
Tour description
The Night Safari is the world’s first nocturnal zoo and is one of the most sought-after tourist delights in Singapore. Hop on board the tram for a 40-minute journey of wild animal encounters! The Night Safari is an open-air zoo set in a humid tropical forest. It is open only at night. It is divided into eight geographical zones, which can be explored either on foot via three walking trails or by tram.
Get a chance to come up with lions, tigers, tapirs, deer etc. Set in a forest clearing, the ‘Creatures of the Night Show’ is a 20-minute animal presentation which will introduce you to nocturnal animals, from the elusive owl to nimble binturongs to intuitive civets.
Night Safari Guided Information:-
1. Please redeem your tickets at the ticket counter.
2. Once you enter, we recommend that you head straight to the Animal Show.
– If Admission is at 7:15 pm, catch the 7:30 pm show.
– If Admission is at 8:15 pm, catch the 8:30 pm show.
3. After enjoying the show, you can proceed with the Tram Ride. We recommend to skip getting down in between and sit through the entire round of enjoyable the Tram Ride instead.
4. After the Tram ride, request you return to the coach pick up point for your return transfer.
River Safari located in Mandai will allow visitors a peek into places from the Mekong, Congo, Nile, Ganges, Murray to the Mississippi Delta. You can enjoy both Amazon River Quest Boat Ride and Cruise Ride at River Safari.
